ISTT Attends the 34th ASPA Board of Directors Meeting in Vietnam

The 34th ASPA Board of Directors Meeting was held during the 21st ASPA Annual Conference in Vietnam. This meeting was held with 10 out of its 16 members present on the 19th of October, 2017. The Vice President of Isfahan Science & Technology Town (ISTT), Dr. Hassan Khakbaz attended the meeting on behalf of ISTT.
During the meeting the board members were informed about the member status of the Asian Science Park Association, the activities conducted by the association in 2017and its upcoming events in 2018.
Also at the meeting, three major issues were decided by the board of directors. First, Dr. Yeong- Junaq Wang, Director General of Hsinchu Science Park was selected as Vice President (President-Elect) of ASPA by the recommendation of ASPA executive board members and with unanimity of the other board members. Second, Skolkovo Technopark was selected as the host organization for the 22nd ASPA Annual Conference in 2018 by the consent of board members. Lastly, Hsinchu Science Park was selected as the host organization for the 23rd ASPA Annual Conference in 2019 by the consent of board members.
